Some more thoughts towards my alphabetical reference brief.
The brief doesn't specify how I come to creating typefaces, it just says to create a fun and inventive alphabetical reference; which is what I'm doing! :)
I tried using a different technique when photographing this typeface. A light box was more or less made... on my lamp! ..and I used the other half's Nikon D700 (oh yeaaah) It worked a lot better than when I used my little compact cam. The lighting was completely controlled so there's no error for the change in lighting, because of the time of the day.
